Sea Turtle Foundation is a non-profit, non-government group working to protect and conserve sea turtles. We achieve this through research, education, awareness and action.

To safeguard sea turtle populations, migration routes and habitats, and support activities that increase sea turtle numbers worldwide.

Our Objectives

• Increase global sea turtle populations.
• Protect and expand sea turtle habitats.
• Increase knowledge of and protect sea turtle migration paths.
• Support research and monitoring of sea turtle populations.
• Identify, highlight and minimise threats to sea turtles.
• Educate government, business and communities about threats to sea turtles and help them solve those threats.
• Raise funds to support sea turtle conservation.
• Stop non-cultural Indigenous take of sea turtles and their eggs.
• Encourage only sustainable take of sea turtles and their eggs by Indigenous groups.
