17-19 February 2009 : In 2009, for the first time, the International Symposium on Sea Turtle Biology and Conservation will be held in Australia. From 17-19 February, international experts will be meeting to discuss current topics in research, threats, management and conservation. To attend the conference you need to register at: www.turtlesbrisbane2009.org . This allows you to attend the sessions each day, listen to international speakers, and ask them about their work. There will also be some sessions open to the public, which will be advertised closer to the date. Check the website regularly for more updates.
